Sep 8, 2004 Thousands of Argentinian Jews took to the streets to protest the acquittal of five people accused of carrying out the 1994 bombing on AMIA. (Byrnes, Brian, 9/9/2004, "Acquittals in '94 Attack Spur Protests by Argentina's Jews," The Washington Post)
Oct 25 - Nov 9, 2006 Argentinian Special Prosecuting Unit determined that the 1994 bombing of the Argentine-Israeli Mutual Association (AMIA) was financed and planned by Iran and executed by Hezbollah and Iranian diplomats. In the blast 85 people died and more than 300 were injured. On November 9, arrest warrants were issued. (US Department of State. 03/06/2007. "Country Reports on Human Rights-2006: Argentina."
